Ali Embury Make-up Artist

Ali Embury is a professional Make-up & SFX Artist and licensed cosmetologist based in Los Angeles. She is currently a free lance makeup artist for print, film, and television with over 8 years of professional experience. Ali holds a Masters in Make-Up Artistry from the Make-Up Designory school (MUD) in Burbank, CA, where she received her professional, education, and training in Make-Up, Hair, and Special Make-Up Effects. Ali has the training, experience, and education in make-up for fashion, avant garde make-ups, theater, film, and television. She is experienced in most aspects of creating custom prosthetic make-ups, including lifecasting, mold-making (stone, fiberglass, resins, etc), sculpting, running silicone, foam latex, gelatin, and prosaide transfers, make-up application and painting. Before she attended MUD, Ali has been practicing the craft of body painting, special effects, and beauty makeup for many years. She started off doing theater makeup, all aspects of painting, and sculpting at Fairport high school in New York. Growing up, Ali was always passionate for painting on the human canvas.
